Core Paths
Once we have read the situation we move here.
High - Stakes Situations
Delayed or stalled promotion 1:1 (Typically 2 months Standard tier)
Everything in the How to Actually Win programme — the system behind promotion, power, and positioning — plus direct application to your specific situation. You leave with the full course content and a personalised power map, sponsor alignment plan, sequenced stakeholder strategy, and defined criteria for when to push and when to exit.
Restructuring or redundancy (Typically 2-3 months Standard or Priority depending on urgency)
A clear read on your exposure, what's actually negotiable, and how to act before the windows close. You leave with a sequenced plan, prepared for every conversation with HR, and a negotiated outcome — settlement terms, bonus treatment, reference agreed in writing, and compensation anchor set before you enter the market.
In - Role Execution
New role: first 90 days (Typically 3 months Lite or Standard)
A read on the structure you've walked into and a deliberate plan for the first 90 days. You leave with a power map, a relationship sequencing plan, a clear brief on what to demonstrate and to whom, and a 90-day checkpoint assessment.
Transitions & Positioning
Prepare exit - planned or forced (Typically 2 months, Standard)
Whether you've decided to leave or the organisation has moved on you, the exit mechanics are the same. Bonus cycle protected, deferred comp considered, notice period timed, reference terms agreed in writing. Plus everything needed before you're visible in the market — CV, LinkedIn, narrative, role archetypes, and compensation anchor. New role or independent practice.
Positioning for what's next (Typically 2 months Lite or Standard)
The situation is behind you. Before anything else, we establish which path is actually right — new role, independent practice, or a combination. Then we build everything needed for that path before you're visible. CV or service proposition, LinkedIn repositioned, narrative, compensation anchor or day rate. New role or independent practice — or both if you want to keep options open.
Most people wait until it's obvious
By then, the decision has already been made without them. Get a clear read before you act.
What this actually costs you
The advisory pays for itself in the first decision it improves.
Most decisions at this level don’t fail loudly. They fail quietly, over time.
A missed promotion cycle at VP to MD level: 12–18 months of compensation difference
A poorly handled exit or negotiation: CHF 30k–60k+ lost in a single moment
A misread situation: Costs you leverage you don’t get back
The advisory doesn’t need to “pay off” over time. It pays for itself in the first decision it improves.
This is not for everyone
Not for professionals below mid-senior level
Not for people who want emotional support or validation
Not for people who want to be told what they want to hear
Not for people who aren't prepared to act on a clear read, even when it's uncomfortable
FAQs
Do I have to start with the Decision Call? For situation-based work, yes.
The Decision Call ensures we’re acting on a precise read, not assumptions.
For standalone CV/LinkedIn reviews, you can book directly.
How fast can we move? Most clients take action within 24 hours of the Decision Call.
Priority Advisory is available for same-day response when timing matters.
Will you speak to HR or my manager? No. I advise you and equip you with the scripts and materials you need. You remain the principal in every conversation.
Do you guarantee outcomes? No.
What I do is ensure the decision you’re making is the right one based on what’s actually happening. That’s where outcomes are determined.
Can we pause or stop? Packages have a defined duration with continuation available if the situation extends. Ongoing advisory has no minimum term on either plan.
What if my situation doesn't fit one of the packages? Senior career decisions rarely fit neatly into one box. Book the 15-minute clarity call and we'll establish what's actually needed. If nothing I offer is the right fit, I'll tell you that too.

Not sure where to start?
If your situation isn't listed, that doesn't mean I can't help. Senior career decisions rarely fit neatly into one box. Email lisa@nextpositionadvisory.com or schedule a clarity call. I'll tell you honestly whether anything I offer is relevant.
