"I have never had to do this before."

It is the line I hear most. Usually from someone who has run a global function, sat on committees, and signed off other people's careers for fifteen years.

What is this?

Know Your Value is a 20 day positioning challenge. One task a day, most of them twenty minutes. You finish with an evidence bank, positioning you can say out loud without hedging, and a decision about where you are going.

How it works

One task each morning by email, with a deliverable and a workbook page in your own Notion. Most days 15 to 25 minutes, flagged in advance. A prompt library for Claude or ChatGPT, free versions fine. You reflect first, AI questions your thinking, you decide. No confidential material goes anywhere near a tool. You do not need twenty consecutive days.

Days 1 to 5. What you actually did, underneath the title. I have done more than I realised.

Days 6 to 10. Your whole career scanned for evidence, the five strongest built into SOAR stories with honest scope. I have proof.

Days 11 to 14. Positioning drafted, said out loud, tested on a real person, refined until it sounds like you. I can explain my value.

Days 15 to 17. Three credible paths compared, one chosen, one deliberately closed. I know what I should do next.

Days 18 to 20. External: target role brief, one page positioning brief, 30 day plan. Internal: next level map, promotion case, 90 day plan with the explicit ask.

Is this for me?

A managing director who has been approached for every role he has taken since 2011, running his first active search at 55.

A VP who gave 34 years to one firm and has never run a search in her life.

A director whose last real application was written in 2006.

None of these people lack ability. They are exceptionally good at their job and have no practice at the separate skill of describing it. Those are two different competences. Nobody mentions that until the day the first one stops being enough.

The reason it destabilises people is that it is not experienced as a skills gap. It is experienced as evidence that something is wrong with you.

It is not. You were never required to do this. The organisation described you. It put your value into a title, a band, a scope, a reporting line, and everyone read you through that shorthand. It worked for two decades. Then it stopped, and the description went with it.

On Day 20 you have
  • An evidence bank you reuse for years, not a CV you rewrite every time

  • Positioning you can say naturally in 30 seconds and in 60

  • A primary direction, a secondary option, one path closed

  • A one page case, external or internal, already read by someone real

  • A first action in your calendar

This is not for you if,
  • A formal process has already started. That has a shorter clock. Start with Inside the Exit, CHF 495, or a Decision Call, 60 minutes, CHF 450.

  • You want a CV written for you. You do the thinking here. The documents get easy afterwards.

  • You want encouragement. This is a practical course.

FAQs

I do not have twenty spare days. You need twenty tasks, not twenty consecutive days. Stop and restart as needed.

Is this coaching? No sessions, no calls, no motivation. A structured sequence with a deliverable every day.

I am not planning to leave. Half of it is built for internal progression, with its own pathway from Day 18.

Will AI write it for me? No. Every prompt needs your material first and is built to question you, not to produce copy.

Know Your Value - 20 Day Positioning Challenge

Twenty days from now, either you can say what you are valuable for in one sentence another person can repeat back accurately, or somebody else is still doing the describing.

The second one is how most senior careers get decided, in rooms you are not in, by people working from a second hand version of you.

CHF 145. Starts 24 August 2026.
